Location: Hoani Waititi Marae, 451 West Coast Road, Glen Eden, Waitakere.
Registrations Open: 4:30-6:00pm

Board Skills/Competencies Sought
Due to rotational retirement, we currently have an opportunity for THREE people to join our Board of Trustees. We welcome applications from people with:
• The ability to contribute to, and provide strategic direction in the achievement of Te Whānau o Waipareira 25-year strategic plan, and operational objectives
• Established networks in the wider community that will support Te Whānau o Waipareira to build relationships within the community
• A background in funding, digital or PR/Communications roles
• A good understanding of the principles of governance and effective operations with a not-for-profit organisation
• A background in legal, financial, education or social services sectors that can assist to achieve our goals.
Commitment Required
Meetings are monthly (approximately 2.5 hours).
Geographic Considerations
Applicants must be able to recite their Pepeha and must reside within the Waipareira Rohe – West Auckland.

- Trustee Information Form (including 3 x referees)
- Trustee’s Nomination Form for Waipareira Trust
- Trustee’s Nomination Form for āpiti Trust
NOTE: A minimum of three nominations is required to ensure the validity of each Nomination Form. - Attach your Curriculum Vitae to include a personal bio and photograph
- Provide a copy of formal photo identification (driver’s license/passport).
- Complete Police vetting form NOTE All applicants will be duly vetted prior to the Annual General Meeting.
