Waipareira Welcomes New Board Leadership

Te Whānau o Waipareira announces Evelyn Taumaunu, who now steps into the role of Chair of Te Whānau o Waipareira. Bringing with her the genuine investment in people and place.

Alongside her, Jacqui Mathews takes up the position of Deputy Chair, and Jacqui Harema joins the Board, each bringing their own depth of experience and commitment to the communities this organisation was built to serve.

Together, they join a governance table that holds something larger than policy and process. It holds whakapapa. It holds decades of advocacy, of services built from sacrifice, of a vision that has never wavered about who deserves care and on whose terms that care should be given.

We look forward to the wisdom, vision, and collective mahi they will bring to this new season of leadership.

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou.
